Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in the Second District. The Artistic Discovery Contest is open to all high school students in the Second District. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will also include artwork from other contest winners nation-wide. The winning artwork is also featured on the Congressional Art Competition page. The Congressional Art Competition begins in the spring, and the winning artwork will be selected during the Annual Utah All-State High School Art Show at the Springville Museum of Art. For more information, contact your high school art teacher or the Springville Museum of Art. For any questions, contact the District Office at 801-364-5550. Required fields are followed by *. |
